Turner Tenney, also known as Tfue, is a famous gamer, streamer, and Internet personality. Currently, Tfue is the most followed active streamer on Twitch, a streaming platform mostly for gamers, and is sitting at 7.5 million followers. Tfue mostly streams Fortnite with many considering him one of the best players in the game. Tenney has competed across several Fortnite tournaments and events, and according to Esports Earnings, he has accumulated approximately $580,000 from these competitions. His most well-known events include a first place performance at the Fortnite Fall Skirmish Series with his duo partner, Cloakzy, and an appearance at the Fortnite World Cup as a solo player. Tfue used to be a member of FaZe Clan as well until he left after suing the organization over contract disputes last year.

Tenney went to Miami to participate in the Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl, a charity event in which popular Fortnite streamers and NFL stars team up to see who can win the most money. The event took place on Jan. 30, and Tfue was named MVP and came in second place with Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, securing $80,000 for their charity of choice.

On his Twitch stream, Tfue described the events leading to the robbery. Late at night after the Streamer Bowl, Tfue spent his time clubbing in downtown Miami after the event. After spending most of the night partying, a drunken Tfue left the club when a group of three kids approached him. The kids jumped him, grabbing his wallet from his pockets and pulling off his Audemars Piguet watch valued at nearly $40,000. The following night, Tfue went to call an Uber after clubbing to find his phone had been pickpocketed off of him while leaving. Tfue stated in a series of tweets that none of his robbers were caught.

Once it was all said and done, Tfue described his visit on Twitter, stating, “This weekend was the most memorable experience of my life.”

Even though he was robbed and lost thousands of dollars in valuables, Tenney was able to have fun and visit with several of his online and streamer friends and acquaintances. He even went to the Super Bowl and experienced much that the average person may not. All in all, Tfue was able to leave Miami without any injuries and with a smile on his face.
