Logan Paul is Fighting Floyd Mayweather in February

Former Vine star, Logan Paul, is on the come up in the boxing scene. He has decided to go professional and is currently 0-1 along with a tie against KSI. He has recently challenged former boxing megastar Floyd Mayweather Jr. to a fight, and he accepted. Mayweather retired in 2017 with a 50-0 record along with fifteen major world titles.

Logan Paul and his brother Jake have been taking on celebrity fights, although, neither one of them has taken on an actual boxer. Logan has fought KSI twice while Jake has fought two YouTubers and former NBA star Nate Robinson.

To no one’s surprise, the announcement of Logan Paul fighting Mayweather caused a huge scene on social media. Many could not believe it was real, and others just made jokes. One of the recurring jokes was that Mayweather was only fighting to avenge Nate Robinson’s loss to Jake.

Mayweather called out Logan Paul last month on Twitter, making his view on boxing YouTubers clear and saying he’s, “not the one for the kid games.”

Jake Paul responded to Floyd, “You know, it doesn’t bother me. At the end of the day, he’s like 5-foot-4, so he’s actually the little kid here, and obviously he just wants attention. He’s fifty-something years old. He should be in retirement. So he just wants to get relevancy by talking about the YouTube kids, because we’re the ones popping off right now.”

Mayweather is 5-foot-8 and 43 years old.

While details are scarce, the event is set to take place on February 20th. No fight card, location, or venue has been announced.
